We are pleased to welcome industry veteran, Pierre Halimi, to the Keeping Time Podcast. Pierre has been connected with watches for more than 30 years, witnessing and influencing the resurgence of mechanical watches. From writing to retailing to distribution - Pierre has truly done it all. His early writing included an incredible and insightful column entitled 'Time Zone' for the original International Watch Magazine. Pierre owned a retail store in the heart of world-famous Palm Beach, FL. With a desire to distribute, Pierre brought Bell & Ross to America followed by the incredible success of TechnoMarine. However, aligning with Pierre's passion and knowledge came the opportunity to represent a then up-and-coming, talented watchmaker, FP Journe. The rest is history. FP Journe is arguably the most successful, award-winning, Independent Haute Horology brand today. Listen in as we cover a meandering array of topics and tap into Pierre's deep knowledge and passion for all things time-related.
